4 Ingredient Protein Pancakes

Fast and easy high protein breakfast with only 4 ingredients.

I am so excited to share with you a recipe I got from my mom! I am always wanting to find good ways to incorporate more protein into my breakfasts. These 4 ingredient Protein Pancakes are the ultimate breakfast pancake. They taste absolutely delicious and you are almost guaranteed to already have what you need in the pantry. Containing only oatmeal, vanilla, eggs and cottage cheese-with 30g of protein, these are the perfect way to start your day.

Not only are they macro friendly, they are kid approved as well! With their slight custard-taste they pair well with powdered sugar and syrup. Or you can be wild and use fruit or even chocolate sauce and peanut butter. I also lie to use monkfruit brown sugar on top (or regular!) The fact is the topping are highly customizable to fit whatever flavor you’re feeling. 

They literally take maybe 10 minutes to make which is a plus in a busy household in the morning. I highly suggest everyone have a mini food processor in their kitchen gadgets. Below is the one I have and I can’t reccomend it enough. I literally put everything in it.

4 Ingredient Protein Pancakes

Fast, easy, delicious and packed with protein.

  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla


  • grind oats into food processor until very fine.
  • add cottage cheese, eggs, and vanilla.
  • mix in food processor until combined creating a batter consistency
  • spray a griddle or pan
  • pour 4 pancakes on hot pan and flip when browned.
  • serve with your favorite toppings.
