This dessert is perfect for those warm summer evenings or any occasion where you want to impress with a unique treat. Let’s get started!

For the Crust:

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup cold butter

For the Filling:

  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup sugar

For the Strawberry Topping:

  • 3 pints fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 container strawberry glaze (such as Marie’s)

  1. Prepare the Crust:
    • In a bowl, combine flour and powdered sugar. Cut in the cold butter using a pastry blender until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs and starts to stick together.
    • Pat the crust dough evenly onto a pizza pan.
    • Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 13 minutes, or until the edges are just beginning to turn golden brown. Be careful not to over bake. Once done, allow the crust to cool completely.
  2. Prepare the Filling:
    • In a mixing bowl, beat together the cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy.
  3. Assemble the Pizza Pie:
    • Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled crust.
    • Arrange the sliced strawberries on top of the cream cheese layer.
  4. Finish with Strawberry Glaze:
    • Carefully spread the strawberry glaze over the strawberries, ensuring they are evenly coated for a glossy finish.
  5. Chill and Serve:
    • Refrigerate the dessert for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.
