  • 1/2 cup butter room temperature
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbs vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda


  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and line a 9x9 pan with parchment.
  • With an electric mixer, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla and mix until combined.
  • Sift together the flour and baking soda in a small bowl. Add to the butter mixture then mix until just combined.
  • In a plastic bag, crush 8-10 golden oreos and half a cup of pretzles. Fold into dough.
  • Press dough into the pan then top with oreo and pretzel pieces to make it pretty.
  • Bake for about 25 minutes. Edges should be golden and middle set. Do not over bake. This recipe is best enjoyed the same day.
